League Match #3: FC Wheeling (02/11/2010 05:26)

FC Wheeling is the best team in the department, Q-wise & this match is on the road for me so I fully expect to take a loss but believe I can draw. Simply put, neither team is going to have very many shots. He plays 4-4-2 longball normal with 2 keepers, 4 defenders (though he's giving up 4 Q by playing a 20 y.o. instead of a vet), 2 midfielders & 3 attackers. It would be tough to get the win, but we'll see what happens. 

 

MY OFFENSE

His defense is better than my offense, that said, I'll be glad to get 3 or 4 shots on goal & 1 in. 

 

MIDFIELD

I should be able to control the ball here given his lineup.

 

MY DEFENSE

His attackers are good & fast. I'm going to need a very good performance from my keeper & defenders for this match to go well. That said, my speedy midfield & defenders (relative to FC Wheeling's attackers & midfielders) should be to my advantage given his longball style. 

 

EXPECTATIONS

I expect a draw, but will be ok with a loss. Beating the best Q team in the department on the road in round 3 will give me a huge leg up on the department race, albeit early.
